chastity, abstinence from harmful and/or illicit substances
including alcohol, tobacco, tea, coffee, and drugs. Honor code, and
dress and grooming standards similar to those at LDS church colleges
will be applied to DVC.
Spirituality
Spirituality is as important a component of
the development of the student as is education, and both will be
equally emphasized at Desert Valley College. The goal here is to
learn truth, both temporal and spiritual, to form moral character
and courage that will serve the students, faculty and staff,
throughout their lives as leaders in the world.
The college will serve all who are willing
to share and live the values we espouse.
